I have to admit: when I heard that the J.J. Abrams movie was going to be shot so that the story was told with footage shot by the characters, I had my doubts. You have to really stretch belief, at times, one would think, that in the midst of a death-defying situation, real people wouldn’t just turn off their cameras and haul ass.
But then again, most real people are dumbasses. So.
This main trailer gives me hope for a giant monster movie that will finally was the taste of the Sony Godzilla out of my mouth.
