No new splode on the horizon to make us happy, so let’s go old school splode: John Carpenter’s Escape From New York. The sequel was sub-par, Escape From Earth will probably never get made, and the Snake Plissken comic book sadly didn’t have much in the way of life to it.
Wouldn’t it be nice if somebody came along and remade this the way Carpenter remade The Thing? In other words, with 147% of your daily allowance of badass?
