Now, we go old school splode with the master of disaster, Irwin Allen. The thing you have to understand is that people used to love to watch films filled with stars where said stars wound up in peril. I’m not sure what that says about people’s opinion of said stars, but regardless, just think of it as similar to The Cannonball Run series, but with more characters dying.
