Here we have the trailer for War, where Jason Statham faces off against Jet Li. Li is obviously very pissed that while he was making shite like Kiss of the Dragon and Romeo Must Die, Statham was off making Transporter movies and making him look bad. Revenge is nigh.

And lastly, Yo Yo Cop Girl from Kenta Fukasaku, son of Kinji Fukasaku. Here’s all you really need to know, from the press release: It’s a Japanese pop romp about a young delinquent girl recruited by the Japanese police and sent undercover in an all girl school to root out terrorists. Her only weapon is a razor sharp yo-yo and her mini skirt. Sold.
Yeah, I know: no subtitles on the trailer. But when you’ve got chicks throwing bladed yo-yos at each other, like some mad live action version of Beyblade, do you really need dialogue?
It’s hitting San Francisco at Landmark’s Opera Plaza Cinema starting today. It’ll be showing there on the big screen in the U.S. and that’s it. Otherwise, wait for the DVD which hits this coming Tuesday.
